Valuing Women

Here's the facts

As of 2023, Australia’s national gender pay gap sits at 19%. This means over the course of a year, the median that a woman is paid is $18,461 less than the median of what a man is paid¹. The same WGEA landmark report revealed that dozens of Australian private companies with 100+ employees had gender pay gaps of more than 50%.

And in a separate report released by the government in 2023, figures showed that on average an Australian woman earns $1 million less than an Australian man across her career².

These challenges are real and faced by women every day.

At Tribeca, the financial equality and wellbeing of women is a priority. We’re committed to helping women bridge the gap in areas of salary parity and knowledge, so they can take greater control of their financial lives.

We do this by working with our female clients to reach a level of freedom and security that allows them to make choices – and not have to settle for status quo.

Why Tribeca is different

Financial advice is often overrepresented by men. But not at Tribeca.

While we proudly have a group of talented and progressive male advisors in our Tribe, we equally have a team of highly qualified women who acutely understand the challenges our female clients face.

They play a pivotal role in all levels of our business. Like to meet them?

Lenny

Associate Advisor. Women’s finance advocate. Empathic ally.

Lenny’s adeptness for financial advice was identified very early, being awarded the best final year student in financial planning by the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Since then she has risen quickly to her current role as Associate Advisor, showing a natural ability to problem solve and strategise, as well as build strong relationships with clients based on mutual trust, empathy and respect. A strong advocate for empowering women to take greater control of their financial world, Lenny is humbled to be part of a team that places client wellbeing at the forefront to help people make their Good Life a reality.

Rachael

Associate Advisor. Financial wellbeing champion. Psychology major.

Rachael’s expertise in financial planning and advice has taken her a long way literally. Having established a burgeoning career in London, Rachael moved her life and skills to Melbourne and thankfully Tribeca. Understanding human behaviour has always driven and shaped her work in finance, beginning with her degree qualifications in Psychology and now through improving the financial wellbeing of her clients. She also practices what she preaches, prioritising her own wellbeing by keeping active and exploring new destinations and adventures with family and friends.

Tori

Associate Advisor. Brave heart.
Dog whisperer.

Putting people first. It’s how Tori likes to live her life, and why she’s such a valuable part of our Tribe. Not surprisingly, one of Tori’s strengths is building strong relationships with her clients and colleagues, also drawing on her experience in financial services to provide outstanding service and support. Her determination to see everyone around her not just be happy, but to thrive, is one of her many star qualities. She also brings another unique aspect to Tribeca – Kora her extremely clever dog – an honorary Tribe member who often joins client meetings.

Kirsten

Practice Manager.
Problem solver.
People person.

There’s three things Kirsten absolutely adores about her job. Meeting people, solving problems and making Tribeca hum. Lucky for us she’s exceptional in each one, ensuring our advice processes continue to set the standard and our clients remain firmly at the core of everything we do. Her desire to help people goes well beyond our office walls, through making every moment count with family and friends to supporting community and charitable initiatives.

Amy

Client Experience Associate. Keen explorer.
Positive spirit.

Amy live’s by the quote, ‘there is no growth found in comfort’. She certainly thrives on being outside of her comfort zone, from undertaking an internship in Japan to taking on new challenges such as her current studies in Positive Psychology. Amy’s adventurous spirit and thirst for knowledge are just two of the attributes she brings to enhance our clients’ experience at Tribeca.

Sophia

Client Experience Associate. Goal setter.
Fur baby mum.

Sophia is driven by the desire to live a life full of many similar goals to that of our clients; having a family without financial concerns such as the choice of education, freedom to travel, and making the most of every moment with loved ones (special shout out to her Cavalier/Maltese Carmelo). Her genuine excitement and investment in helping people live their Good Life is what makes Sophia such an integral member of our Client Experience Team.

Liana

Marketing Coordinator. Creative soul.
AFL doggies fanatic.

Liana thrives off being creative and organised to achieve results, attributes she brings to the fore as a key member of our marketing team. The enthusiasm she brings to her role is indicative of how she approaches life, from making the most of time with family and friends to cheering on her beloved Western Bulldogs AFL team. What makes her most happy is seeing others happy. For Liana, feeling fulfilled at the end of the day is what’s important.

Tash

Snapshot: COO. Human-centred.
Spirited innovator.

A Chief Operating Officer needs a clear mind, pragmatic approach and ability to bring people with them. Thankfully for our Tribe and clients, Tash has all this and more in spades. With over 15 years experience in enhancing business operations and performance, it’s her skill in maximising peoples potential through collaboration and understanding which makes her a respected leader.

Lisa

Strategy shaper.

Stories. The stories that led people to Tribeca. The stories behind a client achieving their Good Life. The stories that shaped and continue to shape our Tribe. These stories are why Lisa invests her heart and soul into her role as Head of Marketing & Client Experience. There’s a real authenticity and meaning to it. There’s also the fulfilment that comes from ensuring Tribeca remains a strong voice and advocate for clients and community.
