The purpose behind My Good Life

My Good Life.

These three words mean everything to Tribeca – and most importantly – our clients.

It’s the first thing you see on our website, and when you enter our foyer. They’re the words that sit behind our relationship with every client: how can we achieve their version of My Good Life?

These words are very deliberate.

It’s not My Best Life or My Amazing Life or My Wonderful Life.

It’s unrealistic to expect life will always be perfect. That we’ll all live in a state of perpetual happiness. Life has its ups and downs. Its opportunities and challenges.

That’s real. True.

Financial advice should reflect this. Yes, it needs to inspire people to achieve their goals and aspirations. But it should be grounded and practical at the same time. To be considered and tailored to support every aspect of a person’s life, both financially (banking, superannuation, investments), and emotionally (security, confidence, free-dom).

When financial advice does this, it allows people to ride every high, and ride out every low.

My Good Life deliberately takes the focus off money so that it works quietly (yet actively) in the background, giving you freedom, flexibility and peace of mind — while you focus on living.

It isn’t about chasing status or fortune, living a life of excess, flaunting your means and inflated egos. It’s a way to describe the life that any individual would like to live – for now and in the future.

For you it could mean:

• feeling confident in the decisions you’re making
• having the freedom to make choices; when you want to make them
• having enough – not necessarily more

Tribeca’s role is not to define that vision — but to help you articulate it and make it achievable.
