My Good Life
So how can we help achieve your version of My Good Life?
How we help you
Security
Removing financial worries and barriers
That’s our first priority as having peace of mind in the now and future is priceless. Using human-centred tools such as our Financial Wellbeing Matrix and 10-3-Now goal mapping, allows us to identify your pain points and shape a meaningful and practical plan for you. Our benchmark financial modelling also supports and empowers you to achieve your dreams and goals.
Freedom
Isn't that what we all want?
Making the most of every moment has a lot to do with knowing you have the freedom to make choices. For some this might happen quickly, for others it may take time. But what’s important is the confidence that comes from being clear on what the road ahead looks like, and the reassurance that we’re with you every step of the way to see it happen.
Simplicity
No-one wants jargon. Or red tape
Financial advice should make your life easier, not harder. When we started out, one of our goals was to make advice simple. It’s why we use the latest technology to streamline documentation. We’ll update and educate you on relevant trends and insights by breaking them down so you don’t need to. And we’ll always encourage you to ask questions and challenge us.
Support
This is what advice is all about
It’s being there for you when times are good, and when life throws up curveballs. Our holistic approach to advice enables us to cater for all of life’s stages, whether that’s setting up insurances and portfolios, helping you buy a property, supporting you in times of difficulty or opportunity, or preparing for retirement. And you’ll always have a dedicated Tribe of experts looking after you.
Value
We measure value in two ways
There’s the financial value our advice should deliver back to you in strengthening aspects like your investments, super and cash position. We refer to this as the Value Factor, where you can expect us to return 4-6 times our fees in value. And then there’s the less tangible emotional value that flows from feeling in control of your finances and choices.
Leah's
story
Leah Martin’s life was turned upside down when her husband Lou passed away suddenly. While facing the tragedy and grief of losing a loved one, Leah also had to deal with no income coming in from Lou to support her and her 9yr old and 14 yr old daughters, and the added concern of a lapsed life insurance policy. To make matters even more complex, Lou had no Will in place and had shares in a company he created with three other partners that could potentially impact his Estate…

Reassuring Leah was our first priority. The next was freeing up some funds for her to maintain her lifestyle and financial commitments. This involved arranging for a part payout of Life Insurance to help with items such as bills and everyday living expenses, lifting a significant weight off Leah’s shoulders. As we set about helping to resolve Lou’s Estate (which was achieved successfully enabling Leah to become debt free), we also helped restructure her finances including updating the Life Insurance and Illness Policy and creating a Will, giving Leah the peace of mind knowing that her girls would be taken care of if something was to happen.
